the house wearing my stays. I think I made them too large.

Also, I thought my waist looks thin and nice with my stays on but I just measured it and it is actually 69 cm (27.2 inch).

Janet Arnold’s Patterns of Fashion arrived today! I’m so excited. I made a carton mock-up pair of stays and walked around the house proudly in it until one of the tabs almost detached from the body. I just need to adjust the armholes a bit and then I can start making the real stuff with boning and pretty fabric and everything. Can’t wait! :D
